Thursday Social Intermediate Tennis (UT): 2.5-4.0
The Thursday league is for social-intermediate players rated 2.5-4.0. We are opening up this league night to ages 21-49. After registration closes, we’ll introduce you to your team consisting of 6-8 players. Team captains will schedule you in matches with similar level players each week (there will be 6 doubles slots each week). Please note that due to last-minute conflicts that may arise, evenly balanced matches may not always be possible and you must be okay playing with different level opponents on some weeks. Following matches at 8:30 each league night, join other players for post-tennis social hour at the league-designated partner restaurant/bar (Hopdoddy @ The Triangle), where you’ll get 10% off food & drinks, as long as you wear league shirt!
Your league fee includes:
- 8 weeks of team-based doubles match-play starting September 10
- A league shirt and chances to win swag/giveaways
- 10% off food & drinks at Hopdoddy social hour after tennis*
- Invite to end-of-season party 🎉 at a local beer garden, with a free drink ticket for RSVPs, light appetizers, and prizes.
UT Whitaker Parking + Court Usage Rules: The UT Whitaker parking lot requires paid parking. You must either pay using the on-site QR code (fees detailed here) or park across 51st Street (there is free street parking in that neighborhood). We have reserved 5 courts for the Wednesday league. All reserved courts will be used for matches, unless there is fewer than 10 teams. Use of other side courts is not allowed, unless you have reserved a court separately with a UT RecSports membership. UT Whitaker is a private facility, and players may not access the facility outside of league nights or times, unless they have a UT RecSports membership.
Teammate Requests: You may enter up to 2 teammate requests in the text boxes on this page when filling out your information (only mutual requests are guaranteed).

Court Location: UT Whitaker Tennis Courts at 287 W51 St, Austin, TX
Thurs League Dates: 6:15-8:30PM on Sept 10, 17, 24, Oct 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 (rain dates: Nov 5, 12)
3 waves of 45-min matches (6:15, 7:00 or 7:45 – choose your preferred time slot above)

Registration Price (Aug 31 Deadline): $99
You are entitled to a full refund, less transaction fees, if you notify info@austinsocialtennis.com that you decide to cancel BEFORE the regular registration deadline above. No refunds will be allowed after teams have been formed.
